This is something I have been wondering about. It seems the implication in the bible and from Jesus's words was that it would happen very soon.

With every year that passes, it takes more and more faith to believe Jesus is coming back.

Will people still be believing after 5,000 years? 50,000 years? A million years?

All those hundreds of thousands of Christians praying as the Romans marched them into the colosseum. God didn't save a one of them.

Now 2,000 years later and nothing.

What's the point of Jesus even coming back if 99% of everyone who believed died waiting? Just stay in heavan until the last believer gives up.

He's not coming back.

He's dead.

Maybe someone else is coming to save you from Jesus.

Did you ever think about this?

You spend so much time waiting for Jesus to show up to save you, that you've wasted all sorts of opportunities to actually follow Jesus' teachings, to look deep within for the Kingdom of Heaven (as Jesus tells you in the bible), and to that place within where the divine lord connects with your consciousness, so to speak.

The Bible isn't literal, it's an allegory. That's why Jesus isn't coming back in physical form. Jesus is a charaterization of the rising sun within us all that we must raise up to Golgotha. (our skull) He comes back when you do your inner work. But Christians don't want to work in their own vineyards (mind) they want to be lazy and just expect salvation given to them on a silver platter. You can wait 20,000 years if you want, the kingdom doesn't come with observation.

Think about this mess this way.

If a man living in Christ's time instructed his son that Christ would be returning soon, that son has now spawned 100 generations (20 years) of offspring at this point - and you guys are still waiting around!!!??!??!??!

First of all....Christ was crucified BEFORE the foundation
of the world.

Second....Jesus died....and Christ was raised.
Those who "supposedly" were acquainted with
him DIDN'T RECOGNIZE Him when they went
to the tomb too prepare his body for burial.

Jesus NEVER WENT ANYWHERE, even tho he
decended into hell. Jesus is a MAN, the Son of
Man....as are YOU.

Some of you recognize that we are experiening Hell right this minute.....
child molestation, poverty, wars riots, etc.

It's CHRIST who is resurrected in YOU.
"Let this mind be in YOU as it was in Crist Jesus;
who thought it not robbery to be EQUAL with God."

Please read your Bible again.

'Study to show yourself a workman unto God;
RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH."

The Bible IS THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.
You must separate the TRITH from the LIE!

Enoch CVIII:

1. Another book which Enoch wrote for his son Methuselah and for those who will come after him, and keep the law in the last days. 2. Ye who have done good shall wait for those days till an end is made of those who work evil; and an end of the might of the transgressors. 3. And wait ye indeed till sin has passed away, for their names shall be blotted out of the book of life and out of the holy books, and their seed shall be destroyed for ever, and their spirits shall be slain, and they shall cry and make lamentation in a place that is a chaotic wilderness, and in the fire shall they burn; for there is no earth there.

Re: Losing the faith: it's been 2000 years. Jesus ain't coming back. How long are we supposed to wait?
The speaker is YHWH

Hosea 5:15

I will go and return to My Place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek My face: in their affliction they will seek Me early.

He left His place when He humbled Himself and took upon flesh.

And Because they did not know the time of His visitation, their house was left desolate.

Verse 15 is the last verse of the chapter

Hosea 6:1

Come, and let us return unto YHWH: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.

Hosea 6:2

After Two days will He revive us: in the Third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.

YESHUA returns to His Place for Two Days, In the Affliction, the Great Tribulation, His people will seek Him quickly.

2 Peter 3:8

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YHWH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

One Day = 1000 years

1000 years = 1 Day

2 Days = 2000 years.

He returned to His Place after His resurrection.

Approximately AD 30 + 2000 years = 2030

But unless the days are shortened, no flesh will survive, the days meaning, He returns before the 2000 years are complete.

...

Third Day

Revelation 20:5

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

He is from Everlasting, years are measured by how long it takes the earth in days to orbit the sun.

YESHUA created the sun, the moon, the stars

All things were created by Him and for Him

Micah 5:2
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Maybe you are a denier of the deity of YESHUA in which case you and the OP are the same in that you both end up in the same place, the lake of fire.

Words matter.

It has been 2023 or 2024 years since he was
Born ...

The “historians” during the first few hundred years since

A.D. had poor sources to work from & got the exact date

Incorrect. ( HE was probably born in 4 B.C. )

The New Testament -written in the first 100 years after

Jesus departed earth for Heaven-SAID the earth was

ALREADY in THE LAST DAYS!

So based on that information I would respond with...

SCOON !

btw- reservations for the

“NON-SMOKING” section need to be made

BEFORE TIME ENDS.

'I shall look upon all My clay, and when I see that he is going to destruction I shall cry out to My Father, saying, "My Father, what profit is there in My Blood if he goeth to destruction?" And straightway the voice of My Father shall come unto Me from the seventh heaven, and none shall hear it except Myself, for I and My Father are One, saying, "Power belongeth unto Thee, O My Son, to do whatsoever Then pleasest with Thy clay." And in that day I shall say, "I rejoice because Thou didst cleave My covering, and didst gird me about with joy, and My right hand shall bless Thee because I am without sorrow." I shall say unto you in that day, "O My holy Apostles, and all My saints, whether ye be angels or archangels, or whether ye be prophets or righteous, and especially My Virgin Mother, and My chief Archangels Michael and Gabriel, I speak unto you, saying: No man who shall celebrate your commemoration upon earth, or shall give a loaf of bread in your name shall go to destruction."

No, IT HAS NOT BEEN 2,000 YEARS.

Christ ascended in 33AD.

The prophecy says, "A thousand years, but not another thousand years"...

There is believed to be a 4 year error on the AD-BC system...

So, we have until 2029AD.... and, creepily, all the end time prophecies are being borne out.
