Re: We no longer accept cash
There are many billions of coins out there.

If "people are not using cash anymore" why is there a "shortage"?

A shortage of stuff nobody uses?

Utter fucking bullshit.

I'll bet the banks are hoarding it knowing it will soon be very valuable.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47276522

Quarters will be very valuable when the FRN dollar is heavily revalued downward and Treasury dollars are issued. Quarters are a fixed unit of currency since "quarter dollar" is minted into the coin itself. It's always a quarter dollar regardless of what happens to the FRN's valuation.

These banks are doing some goofy shit here lately.

The rest of my state is open. The dentist can irrigate your pie hole but the bank lobbies are still not open..What gives?...These pricks are special?

Interest rates are at an all time low but try to get a loan W/O sterling credit.

Coin shortages my Cock. You cant get into the bank to get them like you usually would. Plus some pricks anticipating armeggadon are probably rolling coins cause they are ass broke.

Add to all this the millions on some kind of Uncle Sugar payout and there's some real fuckery going on. My guess is a huge transfer of wealth

Seeing it here in N GA at a few places. I wonder if this has anything to do with me getting new credit cards when the old ones still have a yr or so on them before expiration. Almost all my cards ave been replaced in the last few months for no reason.
 Quoting: Surferdude

Good point. Me too. Just got a notice that my new master card will replace my visa in the mail But it’s not near expired. Hmmmm
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35692808

Funny you say that -- when I logged in, my bank said they are sending me a new card, which I thought is odd. Dunno if will be the debit or credit, but just looked, and my current ones don't expire until 2021.

Also, grocery store just started "no coins." two days ago. They will round your sale up to nearest dollar. The difference can go on your club card, or go to a food bank.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78894656

Hmm, wonder if that's why McDonald's is always asking me to round up for their Ronald McDonald house.

Stores all over my area are no longer accepting cash. Some have signs up saying due to the coin shortage. Some just have signs saying we no longer accept cash. Coin shortage? Total BS. Cashless society and the implant/chip coming soon along with the mandatory vaccine and proof you have received it in order to be out in public, travel, buy and sell.

the coins were created so when melted down, they form a .22 (dime) bullet, a .38 bullet (nickel), and a .45 bullet (quarter)

penny a .223
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79140816

Umm most of those calibers didn’t exist when most of the coins we use were created.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68580101

exactly.

prescience.

oh and the youtube homos absolutely HATE this supernatural stuff like the $20 bill folding into the twin towers.

they absolutely HATE the idea of an actual God who knows everything they've done. if there WAS an actual God, who saw everything they did. AND was just. they would be tormented in hell for eternity and they KNOW it.

Yup, did you see that thread about Bank of America shutting down almost all branches in Florida, INCLUDING drive-through, and limiting withdrawals to $1000 a day or something like that?

What on earth does shutting down drive-throughs and limiting deposits have to do with COVID> This whole COVID thing is a cover-up for some nefarious activities like currency crash or something, and then all this stuff with replacing the police, yeah, some total FKRY going on, pardon the French.

Where is this at? State and city if you can, I'm in Florida not far from St Pete and noticed that today they had a uniformed guy, security type, at front door instead of just a regular employee, thought it was odd.

They are trying to discourage you from using cash. If there is really a coin shortage round everything to the nearest dollar. Simple solution.

Example if it's $5.35 make it $5.00. If it's $5.65 its $6.00. It all comes out in the wash

Been mostly like that since the start here. The stores that must accept cash have a gloved up, masked and shielded cashier. Cash is a major super spreader.

This is a really hinky time in US history. World too.

However, I don't want to exaggerate how bad it is set against just how lousy things were in the 1900s, with its own pandemic, world wars and great depression.

Still, something seems more sinister about America today, existing in a more chaotic, BLM-GLBT, anti-US time frame.

Its legal.. It's only illegal if you have a service done and owe debt. Restraunts (pay after eating), mortgage payments, taxes... Etc

Like paying for a traffic ticket in pennies...

Yeah. When I first heard a couple. months ago that "they" caused the Covid pandemic in order to crash the currency system, and bring about digital money, I thought those people were NUTS.

Now...all of a sudden there is a coin shortage? Bullshit. No possible way the US mint couldn't get people to make coins during a pandemic. Give me a break.

Something very fishy.

There's a few places I eat lunch at in downtown Chicago that are card only.

I asked why and the clerk said its to deter armed robberies. Whether or not that's true, I don't like not being able to pay in cash.
