Quoting: Magnison So, mouse bait with fermaldahide? So when they die they won't smell? Mouse gel trap? Old fashioned mouse trap? Or has anybody had any luck with those electric gadgets that are supposed to give off a frequency that keeps mice away? Any help would be great! Thanks in advance. I don't kill them. Can't stand to pick up a dead mouse from a trap. Creepy. I bought these, and they are great! I catch one and drive him/her up the road to the park and release. Very easy to do! I live in the northeast, and they enter my garage in the fall before winter sets in. Using these traps and putting peanut butter in the trap as instructed, you can catch them easily. Best traps I ever purchased! [link to www.amazon.com (secure)] Before purchasing these last fall, I used metal "Havahart" traps for mice. I put sunflower seeds inside and set the trap, which I had done many times with success. To my surprise, both doors on the trap closed, that damn mouse ate the seed but somehow escaped through a 1/4 inch space on that trap! I had to laugh. That's when I found the traps on Amazon. They work! No possibility of the mouse escaping! Last Edited by nutmeg on 07/12/2020 11:03 PM |

Put a hanger straight through where the handle would go. poke a hole in an aluminum can and slide into the hanger... it should spin... put peanut butter on the can... wait... the mouse will go for the peanut butter and fall in.. the anit-freeze will preserve it so no smell. We use these in hunting cabins... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78507991 We use five gallon buckets with water and some sunflower seeds to conceal the water - cover and they float No need for the spinning cans or peanut butter contraptions With a piece of wood or 2x4 the chipmunks and nice March right up the plank and jump right in ... and drown Can catch about 7 in an afternoon while watching with a beer Antifreeze is dangerous to cats and dogs and small children - where can you dump it that’s safe? Also a pail of water is especially dangerous to toddlers (BE ON GUARD- children can drown in a few inches of water if they are stuck upside down ) For the small space indoors - use Tomcat bait enclosed to keep pets safe I love ALL animals - don’t want cats and dogs to get poisoned - not paid to recommend anything |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78536384 Did I mention the electric ones have an alarm when triggered? Mine even came with a light for if you use it in the attic. Just dump out in the trash. You barely see the critter. |
