Given everything else that is being done to lower America's defenses, I would really look into the angle of it being a hit put out by a foreign intelligence service given the nature of the case he was involved in with respect to the draft, and the implications that it would have on increasing the readiness and availability of fighting forces by potentially expanding the pool to draw upon, as things are heating up with China.
