Did any school districts continue to pay teachers their full salary for the months the schools were closed down? If not, will the districts credit the taxpayers part of the amounts not paid in salaries?

Knowing the answer to the first question as well as the teachers’ compensation expectations may give some insight into the vote.

Most, not all, teachers were soulless dbags with major personality issues in the 80s and 90s. I can't imagine the broken people that go into the profession now. The greatest myth is the one of the noble teacher, when in reality most awkward adults who play petty games with kids. Most people that go into teaching have emotional maturity issues. Which makes sense because going into teaching is the most unoriginal career choice to choose while you're in school. Personally Ive had a handful of great teachers and many more sadistic cruel ones looking for control highs from kids.

Is "Public Education" on it's way out? Has it's time passed? I know that here our big city school system is really really bad and those who manage to "graduate" are actually coming out with a "Certificate of Attendance" vs an "Education" (over 1/3 don't even get that).

If you can't pay to live in a nice area OR you can't privately pay for an education there will be NO EDUCATION for your kids if you live in LA!! California LEADS THE WAY for the rest of the nation AGAIN!!
