They were speculating that and that should be told to others to alert them of the danger... Debris or not, the bottom line is no PFD on. Doesn't work if you don't wear it. Always wear a PFD in rivers & lakes. We just had a young father drown thinking they could swim across the river with no PFD.  he should have had a man with him He did. Had a group of friends. It was 1 second he was there and the next gone. He went under in a popular area and divers already in the area found him pulled him up after 15 minutes under. |
