I’m in my salon as we speak. Finishing my day. I’m so utterly sad. This closure will be long. I feel like this is my last day owning my salon. So much I’ve put into it.

I just want to cry.

Well who's going to buy a home now? Forget it only a handful of places like Palm Springs will be ok. Most towns all already glutted with land and tear downs nobody will ever buy or build on. Half of Southern California is on the market right now. One 155 million dollar home with a Polo field and 28 bathrooms may NEVER sell, and there are other the wealthy will be stuck with. The maintiance alone will wipe some people out eventually.

This is what happened to the Hamptons in the 1950s-1980s. I used to play on Gin Lane alone in front of crumbling empty mansions not used for decades. Eventually it came back in the late 1980s, but it took decades and generations.

Many Southern Cal mansions will just sit and rot out. It is so disgusting and sad.

The only new builds for normal people are mostly in the Apple Valley or few other spots where a new home is 300k for a nice place. But who will buy now?

He had the authority to gut our pandemic response infrastructure. Why couldn't he remove Fauci? H1N1 from 2009 has a very similar mortality rate to sars-cov-2 If there was anyone I would have expected to flip the script on pandemic response it would have been Obama, so yeah my mind is thoroughly fucked. So, where is it at in the legislative process? Trump can still veto, but most likely won't, as that is part of the trap.
