The main trouble with mail-in voting is that young people-- too ignorant and usually too lazy to go vote--can be reminded over and over by email to check Democrat and mail in the ballot. Voting age should be raised to 25 or 30, but we are doomed now.

The only way out of this shit is a disaster of Biblical proportions.

Not everyone is a registered voter and many are not eligible to vote being either illegal, non citizen, too young or dead. Mail in Voting (mass mailings to everyone put on the rolls) is a bad idea. If you want to vote absentee, there is a procedure to follow that verifies everything. Mass Mailings don't.
Also, having worked a temp job in a mail sorting facility I can tell you mass voting by mail is not a good idea. I'm not lying when I say thousands of votes will be lost. I know hundreds of pieces of mail get destroyed by sorting machines every night in facilities across the country. If it happens at one, it very likely happens at the rest.
So not only do people have to worry about an overworked mail carrier who just says "fuck it" I'm tossing them, or a very partisan mail carrier, there is the good possibility your vote is "lost in the mail". It happens. After several weeks working there, the mystery of where did my payment go, was finally solved.
