I like dialysis as life support for the kidneys, but he had AKI Acute Kidney injury, so we hoped for a return of function, and the filtration rate was getting better! just would have been happy to let him know his good test results. I pray he finds peace. Know that we are eternal and you shall meet again! Quoting: Cebeij it IS rough, especially when you are not 100% certain it is still needed. we tried peritoneal dialysis, using the peritoneum as the filter, but it did not work at all. I think he absorbed the dextrose solution.
