It took me 2 years to wake up out of the fog. I thought I was ok, but now looking back I was in Lala land for a long time. Our human identity is connected to our partners, our life and family are well integrated with our spouse. There is no easy way, regardless if you were expecting someone to die or not. My husband has Leukemia so I knew he was dying. But still, you are NEVER prepared for it. In one day, your whole world changes. ONE DAY at a time is the only answer. Blessing of peace within you.  |
