Let's fix that with some dream training! Oh, I could show you there's a lot more to dreams. Been waiting for you to post this. Let's share a dream together soon and I will teach you things that will follow you into the waking world. Lately I've been learning how to levitate, I already have the astral projection down, and the telepathy and the clairvoyance. This a war being waged and we could use your help. |

Let's fix that with some dream training! It's not a dream yoga thing, this is way beyond dream yoga because it's geared around neuroscience, cognitive development, the science of memory consolidation and replay, and how to stimulate atrophic neural pathways and neurons that have gone neglected due to no stimulation to bring memory, awareness and perception out of atrophy. It would be dream yoga on crack but to dream in video game influences or movie influences ;) You know... master the dreaming arts to dream cool shit. It's not a Frued/Jung psychoanalytical site for interpreting dream content... rather about influencing and programming dream content. To you know... bang hot dream avatars, drink at Moxy's tavern from Borderlands 3 or... whatever floats the boat. Just dreaming for fun and entertainment while becoming a Jedi at the art of dream control. |

Let's fix that with some dream training! For sure, it's fun. I like dreaming for entertainment, that is what has kept me hooked on seeing what kind of waking world influence ie movie, game etc I can train in to then dream equal to or better than that artistically so to speak. Even though it was first noted in 2001 for the Tetris effect then studied in 2008 in Video Games influences on dream content... it's something we all likely have and done since childhood but may not have noticed those influences or at least stop to ponder how to make those dreams even more rockstar. Here's some links to the science of video game dreaming, yes it's real studied thing: [link to dreamingforgamers.com (secure)] And some examples from my journal entries: [link to dreamingforgamers.com (secure)] |

Let's fix that with some dream training! Exactly, and when I teach dreaming I just say... look you close your eyes and there is the canvas. Your thoughts, experiences, memories are the paint. Have at it... here's some skills and science to help add more tools/brushes to add to your arsenal for your personal dreaming VR console. No telling you what to dream, just how to dream based on scientifically studied techniques and neuroscience. This to me is a better approach for creative types. Here's the keys, there's the car... go drive as long/hard/fast as you want. |

Ever have deja vu linked to a past dream that later came true as a future event? Try having a lucid dream that is in that future reality "run-time" focus state then changing the dream. See what happens when that modified dream comes true. Just a passing tip ;) |

Not really, I've been a long GLP dreamtard and some here know me for it, but this gem of a site is promoting itself right now, I just have friends here over the years is all. Thought they might like to know what's up because I've been a bit quite on the forum working on this since the 2020 doom made me sad. |

Let's fix that with some dream training! I would be interested, but I don't dream OP.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74820327 Is there anything I can take, supplements, drugs? No... it doesn't work that way. Dreaming is a cognitive skill that develops like any skill we learn. If you do not develop the skill, the regions of your brain that facilitate dreaming go into an atrophic state meaning all the neural pathways and neurons that process dream information have become stunted and underdeveloped, like not going to the gym and expecting to just go in an bench 300lbs. You need to bring your dream recall out of cognitive atrophy by stimulating the atrophic neural pathways and neurons you developed when up to when you stopped dreaming as they are still there but now atrophic. Like muscle memory... it's all still there waiting for stimulation to activate and develop again. This is done by learning to force the brain to stimulate those memory regions over and over again over time so they start to rehabilitate and develop properly. Neuroscience is just starting to show how bad cognitive atrophy is between those who participate in their dreams and those who neglected this gift letting it slide into atrophy. This 2018 fMRI study on Dream Recall using participants who had high-frequency dream recall vs low-frequency recall proves that the mind develops neural pathways and neuron density in those who recall more dreams, they just developed the brain matter to do so like with what happens for any learned skill. Here's the 2018 article: Dream Recall Frequency Is Associated With Medial Prefrontal Cortex White-Matter Density Lyon Neuroscience Research Center, Brain Dynamics and Cognition Team (DYCOG), INSERM UMRS 1028, CNRS UMR 5292, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Université de Lyon, Lyon, France [link to www.frontiersin.org (secure)] So this rehabilitation process requires repeat stimulation of memory regions as all dreaming regions of the brain that have gone into atrophy, and the worse of it... if you let it get that bad bro... you may never get it back. No magic pill makes specific regions of your brain suddenly develop learned skills and neurons to support that skill. But training, excersising and developing that skill will bring it out of atrophy, you will have to work for it like everyone else. Here is free 7 day course on dream recall and it will walk you through all the nessicary steps to rehabilitate memory with dreams. [link to dreamingforgamers.com (secure)] |

Let's fix that with some dream training! When I had that first one back when I was 22, it actually me think back on a particular time and dream I had when I was probably 4. Believe it or not, even at 4 and after all these years, I’m certain my memory serves me correct and I was fully aware even at that age. Knowing what I knew at 22 with the sleep paralysis, I’m sure I had one at 4 years old. It was truly the wildest one out of all them. Interesting this thread pops up, because last night, while dreaming and events occurring within the dream. I told somebody within the the dream that I had previously dreamed of the events that were playing out within the dream. Like I was dreaming, then had a dream within the dream, and then within the dream the events played out from the dream in my original dream. If that makes sense. I don’t know how to explain it....it was some next level inception stuff. |

Let's fix that with some dream training! I find dreams very fascinating. Have all my life from a young age to being 32 now. While I always thought about my dreams, say, the next morning, it wasn’t until I was about 22 when I had some episodes of sleep paralysis for about a year and half. That really motivated me to look more into the dreaming state. I eventually learned how to break sleep paralysis during the dream and overcome any sense of fear during it. Like when they occurred, I was lucid enough to understand what was happening. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76826016 When I had that first one back when I was 22, it actually me think back on a particular time and dream I had when I was probably 4. I don’t know how to explain it....it was some next level inception stuff. I love recursion in dreams, it's like our subconscious is this massive database of non-linear data we just swim around it. Time in dreams can appear to stretch, past/present/future seem to merge and probability branches seem to offer different what if scenerios... it's one of the most interesting thing we do when we sleep yet for some reason neglected as a valid skill to master and learn from the ground up ie... learn to dream as a skill from childhood onward in school etc. Very neglected en mass, to many fringe dreamers but we are starting to grow in number this site might help a mass return to the endless potential each of us have when we sleep at night. Dreaming is after all, universal between humans and mammals with no divisiveness, it's what we all do when we sleep. |
