I used 4 yards for the cross-section, then calculated the weight of an 8 cubic yard iron cube and used that (100,000 pounds) along with 2 for the drag coefficient. That gives me 666 (!) mph, which is close to the speed of sound.

The earth is round, semi round, it squashes out more so at the equator. It is NOT flat, the flat model doesn't work at all, and you know it.

If you believe all other planets are flat, then they must ALL face the earth, all the time. Which would be impossible as we orbit the sun.

The sun isn't a tiny ball that travels around over the earth, because that would also assume it's round correct? So you even fail with your feeble excuse of how the ball sun moves around in circles over a flat earth.
