So when we had out industrial revolution there was no quality testing .

We had to introduce inspectors to check things were decently made .

Also in schools and with equipment and cleanliness ...and other things.

This is just off the top of my head with no real thought ....

Maybe some of the electrical stuff is poor quality manufacture .

Perhaps it does not work in heat .

Perhaps electrical fluctuations disorientate it

The dirty water was allowed to flow into the Thames untreated .

A child was taken to a canoeing lesson and became infected and seriously ill with a bug because of this .

The Australian company meanwhile had sold Thames Water to an unsuspecting Canadian company .

I have no idea whether they have increased the size of the sewerage works .
