Just lost my job. HR letter states it was a direct result of the effect on business due to the virus. Was the 2nd month in a row with dismissals. Company is a large ink manufacture based in Michigan.

Good.

The sooner the better. We've already fucked up everything and consumed our future anyway.

The sooner we fall, the lesser the pain. And the easier it will be to start over. And hopefully wiser.

Bring it on.

Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that. I truly hope there is something in the next stimulus package to extend the federal unemployment benefits. You can get good updates on the youtube channel "ClearValue Tax" to know what is being voted on and what the current issues are.

My workplace closed in March, now the PPP money ran out and we are on unemployment. Everyone was so optimistic about reopening except me. I have my doubts if we will ever come back -

Re: This Is a Financial Extinction Event
The USA wants the complete destruction of the middle class, they want people either making $30,000 or less or $200,000 and more a year. They don’t want people making money on their own, you either work for a corporation or the USA gov. Especially here in NYC they destroyed independent businesses and are continuing to hold some others out that haven’t even opened again yet like gyms. They want more people dependent on the USA gov welfare.

Sounds similar to USSR.

"It's to expensive to operate a car with insurance, gas, oil, maintenance, then pay three weeks pay to rent a one bedroom apartment and have the rent go up 20% a year, while watching food prices soar and the cans get smaller. At a certain point it is more economical to turn a flamethrower on the entire system and burn it all to the ground. Only then would there be new grass shoots in the economy. Sort of like forestry."

If Trump’s FED hadn’t started printing money out of thin air last September by using the REPO MARKET to bail out DEUTSCHE BANK, the economy would’ve collapsed between Halloween and Thanksgiving

Agree. it was death by 1000 paper cuts. Now its death by a few dozen swords.

People need to stock up on everything and start producing everything. Pretend its WW2 Europe and get to work doing anything. If you wait, you will starve.

I agree completely.
Did you see that film series, Jordan? The thing that shocked me the most was that the town people kept on drinking by candle light and it never occurred to them to get busy planting food. They just waited for the old food chain supply to come back.
There will be so many people like that.

Driving around my midwestern town, which was already hurting financially. Everything looks and feels different. Very 3rd worldish, everyone coming off as agitated and stressed. Which is bad if you can pick that up 25 ft away. There'sa different feel out there. Lots of places just look abandoned. Those that don't look desperate. "please come here and buy things".

Yeah, buy a nice home on a golf course, the course then goes bankrupt and gets rezoned into land for low income housing. It’s happening all over the country. Destroying one subdivision after another.

How many landlords and renters in the USA? Looks like 43 million people.
There is a very large population in the USA that make their money off renting to others.

We should make it more difficult for those buying houses for investments, renting, foriegn buyers esp Chinese, house flippers, banker owned, banks keeping off the market and so on because they artificially prop up the prices.

IMHO, this is what it's going to take to get out of this mess:
1. wipeout all debt, start over
2. remove the FED, issue currency from US Treasury backed by
natural resources, food, precious metals, etc.
3. collapse Wall Street banks and start State and localize
banking systems
4. eliminate income and property taxes consider sales tax
5. housing after debt wipeout, possession 9/10th of the law
will be your asset free and clear, sorry banksters,
landlords, etc. This asset is yours to rebuild personal
wealth. Lien asset "housing" to purchase auto's, business,
etc through the new banking system.
6. arrest all elite criminals hang the guilty
7. politicians and families subject to an annual personal
audit

There you go you get your life and freedom back.

Re: This Is a Financial Extinction Event
It wasn't the impact and shock wave that killed off dinosaurs globally--it was the "nuclear winter" that doomed them to extinction. As plants withered, the plant-eating dinosaurs expired, depriving the predator dinosaurs of their food supply.
This is a precise analogy for the global economy, which is entering a financial "nuclear winter" extinction event. As I've been discussing for the past few months, costs are sticky but revenues and profits are on a slippery slope.
Businesses still have all the high fixed costs of 2019 but their revenues are sliding as the "nuclear winter" weakens consumer spending, investment in new capacity, etc.

Re: This Is a Financial Extinction Event
This monetary system is unstable by design. The bankers practice (for over 150 years) an easy money, easy credit policy for up to a decade. People borrow and expand based upon their belief that the system will continue within the same pattern. Then, credit is dried up and the elites who run the system go out purchasing the real wealth of the nation at a huge discount.

Every time they collapse the system they create a new reason why...

Other options for how to create and run a decentralized mutual credit system are found within this thread:

My youngest son is an experiment in a theory, and in my calculations, his college money that I signed over to him, officially when he's 21, but come retirement age his investments will be worth far more than his friends will have by actually going to college...

My broker and I sat down with him and showed him the time value of money...and he might use it to buy a house...we'll see...I hope in 30 years he can retire young like me!

Re: This Is a Financial Extinction Event
The script changes in September when Rahu goes in to Taurus September 19th. This will cause an extreme focus on money, finances, banks and wealth for the next year and a half. Trump, for example, has Rahu in Taurus in his 10th house of career. He is famous for his luxurious lifestyle and reportedly secretive about his net worth. Rahu will transit the U.S. 6th house which rules crime, problems, poverty, and conflict. The financial situation is in a relative state of balance compared to what will be happening beginning this fall.

In December Jupiter and Pluto will go back to Capricorn bringing back the government and corporate restrictions we witnessed this past spring. Pluto will then be in a 20 year transit of the u.s. 2nd house which rules banks and money. It’s definitely going to cause some irrevocable and destructive changes.

Chiron, according to the Magi Society, rules the economy. Right now it is the last and weakest sign Pisces. If there’s any hope of a fresh start it will be when Chiron goes in to Aries, the first and strongest sign, in 2025. But before that, the period to really watch will be 2024-2025 when Chiron goes to the last degrees of Pisces and 0 of Aries. This is what the vedics call “ghandanta” which causes struggles. We’re headed in to this this fall actually with mars transiting at the last degrees of Pisces. It will be a preview.

Trump is the poster child for Rahu in Taurus. Beginning in September:
