(OP) Senior Forum Moderator 07/17/2020 07:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No you're the hoax, when you can see it with your bare eyes, so does that mean your eyes are fake? Are you a complete moron? Or just partially mentally retarded? Can you see a 737 at 42,000ft? Yes. No? Okay then... Quoting: ACBut you claim that you see an object slightly larger than a 737 at an elevation of 400km? Yes. Not only can I see it, I can resolve it with my telescope too (you don't have to be able to resolve something as more than a point light source in order to see it). And guess what? The angular size, the distance, and the physical size all match up with the stated numbers: Checkmate. |

Thread: SpaceX DM-2 and ISS Live Stream! You can see SpaceX DM-2 docked to the forward PMA node. Please tell me you're being sarcastic... |

If you don't like it, you don't have to be on my thread. Nice work, sir. I've been following your work for 20 years. I do have a question: How come there are no stars visible? I'm curious as that question was asked many times by people looking at the moon photos. Have a great weekend! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78610840 United Kingdom 07/17/2020 07:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look guys, what would change in your reality if someone told you that there is no space, Earth is an egg and you are walking on an egg that is boiling slowly? Nothing!, would you jump up and down to break the egg and eat it??? LOL! Just enjoy the space as it is, it's cool, it's nice, you can wish on a falling star, you can hope for conquering the Universe, though it'll stay only as hope for eternity that one, and you can also be proud to be on Mars eventually, though it won't happen ever but you will see with your own eyes all the success on landing on Mars, living upon it and the rest, will Earth will be in a breakdown and hoping that you will be one of the few that will go there and begin from scratch, the catch though will be that there is no one there. But enjoy, it's fun and cool and it's nice to watch space x dm2 dock at iss in 4k. Thanks Astro. :) |

Same reason there are no stars visible in this video; the space station is bright and illuminated by the sun, requiring a fast exposure. The stars behind it are orders of magnitude dimmer, it's not possible to properly expose the space station and capture the background stars at the same time. If I take video of the moon through this telescope you'll see the same thing, no stars around the moon unless it's in the middle of a lunar eclipse. The Apollo photos were taken on the moon during lunar day, the cameras were set for fast exposures to capture the bright daylit lunar surface. |

There are no stars cause it's all in a tiny real miniature placket that they used to dock the space x d m 2 to i s s , it's something like Lego but more real. Thanks though for the scientific answer, but reality is reality. :) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78610840 No, it isn't. This isn't fake, I filmed it myself. of course it isn't fake, it's totally real. The projection is what makes it fake, it's all a projection of what the equipment is asking and the return answer from the technology that no one has dreamed of yet. |

I can see the same details in the eyepiece even when I'm not filming it. There's nothing to "project" an image, it's just an optical tube, the electronics are only connected to the motors that move the tube. I wrote the software that is controlling the telescope, so I guess that means I'm the one who programmed it to "project" a fake image as well? Last Edited by Astromut on 07/17/2020 07:37 AM |

You assume that it's real and everything adds up, because of your equipment, your own time and knowledge on Mathematics. Quoting: ACWrong. I don't assume anything, I've measured it for myself. That's not an assumption, that's empirical evidence. |

There are almost 8 billion people, surely one out of all those would love to be sent there with a rocket whilst transmitting live all the path out of Earth and to the Space, independent launch mission, not registered. One sacrifice, the whole World will know the truth. So simple. |

Have to watch it through the lens of an animal, the optics are made for humans, find which animals has different view, totally different than human has or any similar animal that sees the same and transform that view to new optics for that animal and watch it through those optics, different result, you'll see something very different. |

The optics work just fine with film, with CCDs, with anything that can record light. Last Edited by Astromut on 07/17/2020 07:55 AM |
