I didn't used to hear it. I remember distinctly that I got sick and then I started hearing it. I found out it was a type of fungus that moves through the lymph nodes and settles into the brain as dimorphic fungi. |

Only when it is very quiet, it won't play music if its noisy. Picky thing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73974064 Anyone remember the viral Reddit post where they guy found a listening device in a drop cord? I don't remember the resolution but even back then I wondered if it was a Chinese product. |

I don't know if you are all aware of this, but by focusing hard and re-imagining the music, it will change the song and how it sounds. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79148308 United States 07/17/2020 01:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow! We all have dimorphic fungi? We don’t hear it all of the time, just if there is background noise. Magical, not fungus.....I hope. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71088931 Theres 52 types of them by region and theyve been reported back as early as 1917. In most people they do nothing in particular, but with aid's patients their growth gets out of control and causes health problems. |

Logically, I assume it’s just that one thing where the brain automatically wants to make sense of things into something familiar. But I ain’t a conspiracy theorist for nothing! It’s definitely weird. User ID: 78555512 United States 07/17/2020 01:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm an audiologist and I have people tell me every once in while they hear music playing in their head. Sometimes full songs of all different kinds of music. It usually happens after the person has had a brain injury like a stroke and head injury and are typically older adults. MRI scans etc never find anything wrong (of course) and we just define it as an "auditory event" triggered in the brain. Quoting: Earmark1 I think you mean he is saying they think they actually are hearing it as opposed to just having a song playing in their head. Who can't get that song playing out of your head sometimes. (clearly not hearing it though, rather thinking it) You're right..my comment was more geared to another topic. I am aware that cochlea and the 8th nerve that serves it are very frequency specific and the very much attuned to sound. What could be happening is the brain is receiving a mixed signal and attempts to fill in the gaps. Kinda like when we see faces in objects that aren't there. Earmark1 |

I'm a musician.. and sometimes i just sit there and enjoy it. I've even sketched out some of the chords and progressions I'm hearing. Often, it is quite symphonic... It's always interesting and quite beautiful... Thought it was just something I alone experienced... I've even heard djs talk like after the song. I thought a radio frequency was bleeding through. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73049099 United States 07/17/2020 02:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Device for the induction of specific brain wave patterns – US Patent 4335710 A Brain wave patterns associated with relaxed and meditative states in a subject are gradually induced without deleterious chemical or neurological side effects. A white noise generator has the spectral noise density of its output signal modulated in a manner similar to the brain wave patterns by a switching transistor within a spectrum modulator. The modulated white noise signal is amplified by output amplifier and converted to an audio signal by acoustic transducer. Ramp generator gradually increases the voltage received by and resultant output frequency of voltage controlled oscillator whereby switching transistor periodically shunts the high frequency components of the white noise signal to ground. Maybe they dont like what youre thinking In 1993, Defense News announced that the Russian government was discussing with American counterparts the transfer of technical information and equipment known as "Acoustic Psycho-correction." The Russians claimed that this device involves the transmission of specific commands via static or white noise bands into the human subconscious without upsetting other intellectual functions. Demonstrations of this equipment have shown encouraging results after exposure of less than one minute and have produced the ability to alter behavior on unwilling subjects. A US Department of Defense medical engineer claimed in 1989 that the U.S. and Israel had regularly used microwaves to condition and control the minds of Palestinians. |
