To me Bubba Wallace is like the Meghan Markle of NASCAR. For whatever reason - probably hubris - they both felt it was their duty to “change” or “modernize” long standing and conservative organizations.

I think they have both failed at their missions.

Whats even funnier is knowing nascar (i have watched for 27 years), they wouldve given him the "fan vote" to make it to the all star race later that night.

Then in his post race interview whined about how "the good christian boy didnt do it on purpose for sure...", sarcastically referring to mccdowell who is very know for his extra whiteness and being outgoingly christian

Now i cant even watch nascar knowing how they used this to try to persuade blacks in to watching their races.

Theyve been dying to have black fans for years. They just dont get that they arent really in to racing. They already have 90% of basketball and probably 80% of football.

Its still ok that we all like different things isnt it?
