2020 Protests/Riots//COVID/NWO brought to you by Rock Music
This thread is intended to chronicle the events of 2020 so far using rock music. Not necessarily in chronological order.

I believe, we can piece together a pretty coherent timeline which will be both instructive and entertaining.

All perspectives are welcomed and the category "rock music" should be liberally construed to include it's broadest application.

I'll begin with a homage to the Portland Rioters who seem to be the visible tip of the 2020 iceberg at the current moment.

Also - Crank it up.

Next we'll travel back to the tragic events of May 25th that kicked off the Protest season with this timeless classic:

Let's take a moment as an aside now to reflect upon the purported philosophical underpinnings of the current "movement". Bearing in mind that legitimate grievances do exist, though they seem to be being purposed into the catalyst for a full out socialist revolution by some parties with apparent support from many large corporations.

It's a whole thing, so we can't just skip to the end. GLP needs a new epic playlist and your contribution is appreciated. Then again this isn't a chronological documentary, so the end is good right there where you put it.

Meanwhile, stuttering old uncle Joe, having his strings pulled every which way blindly stumbles ahead in the polls like a dottering drunk whose lost his balance and is falling toward the bar, single mindedly determined to snatch that bottle of whiskey before he hits the ground...................

I notice there's a dearth of good "protest music" like emerged in the late 60's and early 70's. (Note: I don't typically consider rap to be music).

I found this today, quite by accident. Fellow named Deek Jackson and the name of his "album" is called DISOBEY. It's not hard rock, but it is kind of bluesy rock balladish sounding.

Track list:

1.Disobey 05:32
2.Crime & Punishment 06:12
3.Be Free 04:58
4.I Love The Police 04:07
5.Don't Believe The Government 04:32
6.The Best War Yet 05:28
7.There's A Bomb In My Song 04:02
8.Live Fast Die Young 06:02
9.The Free World 05:12
10.Tumble and Fall 05:46

'bout time to hoist that ole black flag...
