EXPERIMENT POLL: Would you attempt the "Medical Reason" exemption to wearing a mask, when entering Costco (OR any store that requires masks), just to see if it works? Would you be brave enough to experiment, and not wear a mask at all, while walking into Costco. And when they challenge you, you say "I have a medical exemption. I can't wear a mask because of health reasons". And see if Costco lets you in, or if they ask you to leave. This is a poll to see if you'd be willing to do that, in the name of FREEDOM. p.s. If they ask you what your medical problem is, tell them they are breaking the law by asking that, and point them to the American's Disability Act. A few of the Costco stores are handing out masks with an open hand, and if you take, you take. If you don't, you don't. There's already a discussion circulating within these larger stores that employees are not willing to confront customers, for their own safety purposes. The rules be damned. Some of the people I know inside these stores have already said "if you want to enforce it, you personally enforce it." Good luck interacting with the wrong customer. It could be Russian Roulette, and not a game I'd want to participate in. |
