So I went to Urgent Care today, in hopes of getting antibiotics quick for a minor infection on my thumb......And....

I walked up and they had two tent-like structures that were open air, and each had ONE chair.

They said it would be a 2 HOUR wait to see a doctor....because of the COVID-19 patients.

Then, I asked a few questions of the nurse (or whoever it was) about COVID:

So, is it really that bad here?
He says, "Oh yes...."

I also asked him, "what are they using to treat it, now?"
He hee-hawed around and didn't say.
I asked, "IS there a treatment for it?"
and he said, "not really...."

Of course, I decided to leave and go to my private doctor tomorrow instead.

Summary: I didn't expect COVID cases to be seen or treated at Urgent Care, at all. I figured all that would be done at the big hospitals. But, Urgent Care is PACKED with what they consider COVID cases.

I've been to that Urgent Care several times in the past - you were always seen by a doctor rather quickly.

Something is up.
