I always found that when an earthquake happens in Alaska, a much bigger one happens somewhere else shortly after.
Maybe it's because HAARP is over there or whatever, but its just something I've always noticed.

it was originally reported first as 7.+ then upgraded to 8+ then to 9.

it's a nbgr if it stays below 8, or if it's determined to be not a megathrust eq
