And the world is dealing with the WuFlu aka China Virus aka COVID19. Not to mention that the US has a Level 4 Bio Lab sitting in the waters offshore from Galveston. Given the war preparations going on between China and the USA, anything Houston is of major concern. The Port of Houston and our Refineries are major targets. Years back, I remember reading an article in the Houston Press. I believe it was called Attack Here. It highlighted the concerns that the bulk of our refined petroleum transits the port. If a terrorist was to take down the Sydney Sherman bridge, it would collapse on to the Houston ship channel, stopping everything going down that waterway for quite a while. Also, the chemical plants in Houston have some things that are so bad that a chain reaction explosion could result in devastating effects on the population there. |

Houston doesn't seem like a big Chinese hub but AC's reasons at the top of this post might be some to seriously consider. |
