Why Can't We Put AC's on Ignore?

I'm not a blue name, but it makes sense to me that individual AC numbers should be able to be ignored as desired by blue name members. Many of the biggest AC trolls use the same AC number for many days at a time.

As an AC myself, I realize I can't ignore anyone, but I like seeing everything, even though a bunch of it is garbage, because it helps me to better notice the ebb and flow of organized outside influences on the forum.

Control your mind more tightly. Problem solved.

I'm not whining, just asking a fairly logical question. We can ignore other registered users but not AC's.

I'm also not saying ban ac's. But there are some irritating trolls that muck up threads and if they could be ignored it would be less irritating.

I will agree there are a lot of AC trolls.
But honestly even if a feature like the one you described existed people would just use proxies to post under a different AC number. The trolls will act like trolls. Really no stopping in minus banning all AC's.

That would interfere with the 'free will' program that is running in the background. That and 1/1000 of their posts contain something called a fact. The rate might be lower if just the blue names are referenced.

But if you're on an upgrade, and you start a thread, you can ban any poster. So...not sure about just registered.

The only reason I'm asking is because it's inconsistent. Seems like one should be able to ignore whatever user they choose to ignore. But AC's can't be ignored.
