Page 3 starts coverage of summer 2021 flooding in China.. ? 3 Gorges will hurt again?

Ok the middle section is the spillway. For some reason I missed it had a ship lift on one end...

so in the feed above.. water is coming all the way across and the two sides are the hydroelectric areas also feeding thru a lot of water... I do not know if this is normal daily amount of water for electricity production... But it does appear the spillway is open across it from the angle view. Don't mind me I love dams... exploring this one more...

I read last week they were concerned about smaller dams upstream failing and the wall of water coming down from those dams could cause failure of the three gorges dam.

No. I am referring to the after quakes. That is a massive amount of water pressure to be released.

that and the potential of landslides into the reservoir... land gets soak on each side of dams... how soaked depends.. we had to lower a dam hugely in colorado many years ago because the sides of the reservoir were COAL... and that got soaked. coal is not solid rock.. so the once beautiful reservoir doesn't have boar docks anymore even.. A whole town was going to slide in.. coal soaked underneath the town... Man does stupid stuff .....

the Teton dam failed in Idaho... dirt fill dam.. and after letting the dirt sit for a long time.. weather I assume.. they forgot the scrub the top layer so the new layers would stick.... and as the dam filled.. water very quickly went thru that seam when it reached that level.. matter of days. I got to go see that afterwards.

the power station is down the Yangtze River from a handful of other dams that exist at a higher elevation than the Three Gorges. And because of the floods and problems at those dams upstream, Three Gorges is buckling under the strain of massive flows of water.

the earth is going to mostly empty the planet during the magnetic reversal.. and we have plans well in place after all the dark shits and those not ready for light and life are gone... there will be 1.5 billion estimated stay behinds for the Millennial Reign. If the planet did a significant AXIS shift.. there would not be a dam anywhere still standing on the entire planet... nature keeps herself in balance as to the planet and animal life.. it is man that does not keep himself in balance...

That dam was built because of the massive population and what else in the one sense were they supposed to do.. considering the annual rains there...

California is going pay too in my country.. as will the middle grain belt along the Mississippi and Ohio rivers... if the expected quake happens there. This is a world overloaded with the problems of man being terrible out of balance and in due time nature will do that.

Happening some in China right now. On my forums.. one of us is mailing a section of the huge number of weather stuff this year.. there is always flooding some places and all that. but its huge this year... nature is rebalancing . Massive sing holes and such too.. really big ones.

It could be another dam or levee has given way on another river. They deliberately blew one dam or levee on the Anhui river the other day. The way the three Gorges is blasting all that water it isn't to any wonder. The three gorges spilling the way it is makes the water coming out move 5 times faster than a normal flood.

oh easily the power in that is huge... It doesn't seem nature is gong to quiet now there any time soon... We can expect something more without a doubt.

I know or was given.. a huge amount of detail during Oroville and got help understand the construction ERRORS there.. and there is more than the leaking under the spillway again there.. .the abutment of the dam on the spillway side.. has serious construction errors... and lots of small quakes and all the rest over time are going to blow that dam. As well depending on weather some upstream with it... and California has extensive levies holding back SEA water and it won't take much there for the sea to back in.

Man is stupid. simple as that. And this doesn't include what the SA might do and it can drop suddenly 100 feet because its all caverns under there building up pressure from the changing earth at this time... It is possible for the whole section of land north of LA.. from I believe is the Garlock Fault all the way to the SA and all the way south to the Baja...at bit onto the baja in fact... to drop is one swoop 100 years...

And California has a major underground river of sufficent depth to handle submarines and there is a submarine base in Nevada. Do any of you remember the suddenly disappearing submarine long time ago.. never found... I forget its name.. its under Nevada.

And I have no idea what could happen as the great Ogalala continues to empty... it doesn't refill... will there be massive sinkholes? plus of course the water being gone and humans KNOW that and yet they don't look much to eternity yet and are stupid.

and last I heard.. 3 gorges.. is only 11 meters... about 35 feet below overtopping still.

All gates been wide open since 9 July

There is cavitation on the right side of the spillway... as you look at the dam from the front.. I am trying to get link on it.. I saw it was the feed above I was pretty sure which seems off... Info is from a chinese language twitter.. give me time..

OK I found what I wanted (English) and as soon as I clicked on the video showing cavitation in part of the spillway I received a NO ACCESS..... The spillway is damaged however.

what was witnessed was a few hours ago.... that this thread is about.. the above is too old.

However now on clicking we have all this stuff in separate videos on one of my forums.... one there collects them. and lots more than flooding.. but flooding is huge this year.

Check out chave weather- daily videos on you tube on Yangtze river flooding july 22, 2020 it has new videos I haven't seen before of the flooding there. Crossroads with Joshua Phillips on you tube said when they blew the dam in anhui and opened up another one there it flooded something like 200,000 homes(which is lot).

Thank you for the thread. You point your finger squarely on the main issue, ALL IS ONE IS ALL, in your statement about people not looking to eternity. ETERNITY must be part of the equation in any decision, especially those affecting millions of people and altering landscapes. Building ANYTHING in an area where there is frequent flooding, or where there are frequent quakes, is actually INSANITY, or A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO SABOTAGE.

The reasons for building the 3 gorges dam was to stop flooding - and now it is has problems due to - wait for it - flooding, so seems it has not fulfilled that goal. It also produces huge amounts of electricity for a huge nation. China has contributed in part to reducing population through the previous 1 child one family policy, but we are still talking huge increases in population, not only in China, but worldwide.

The planet cannot deal with it, especially if a large part of that population does not assume guardianship of the environment through their live choices, especially if it consumes vast amounts of resources, especially if it demands to continue the way it has. With millions of people now wearing masks, for example, and discarding them again, the piles of rubbish will be even higher. Something radical must happen to increase awareness, and it will happen, to prevent self-destruction.
