From my personal experience of many decades on this planet, the police never saved me or made me safe. My only encounters with them involved me paying a lot of money to them. Sometimes not even that - there was one case where a junior state cop ransacked my car looking for drugs because my car model looked suspicious. Cops are fucking useless and beyond that, traitors to humanity.
