Pepsi and Coke are used as pesticides for crops in India

I kill ants with Coke Zero.

So the stupid street shitters spray sugary liquid on their crops to keep insects away. No wonder they face perpetual crop failure and famine.

I haven't had either in over 5 years. Maybe closer to 10 for pepsi.

my mother wouldnt let us five girls drink ANY soda or eat candy or junk food growing up.
we HATED her for it!
at Halloween parties at the church, we had to sit down and let the OTHER Kids catch the candy thrown over the balcony.
we were not allowed soda unless it was a special event at someones house.

to this day, im 50 in December) i do not drink the sodas.
ive seen people literally addicted to them and shaking and headaches and sweating until they got their drink.

sodas do NOT refresh me, they dont quench my thirst either.
so my own children were not given sodas but i did not buy it for them.
they drank it at school, friends houses...
they even had candy and sweets.i bought those.

i do have to THANK my mother for that one thing, not allowing us to become soda drinkers.
it was one of the best things she ever did.

Actually sugar is an effective weed control because it stimulates the good bacteria.

The organic people recommend spreading out corn gluten meal rather than pesticides.

If you are trying to claim that coke and pepsi are bad because they are supposedly used as a pesticide because of the acidity, you are wrong.

Our stomach acid is thousands of times stronger and. Perfectly capable of neutralizing coke, pepsi, and vineger and lemon which is more acidic than soda.

yeah well I met an 82 year old man out busy doing yard work and he told me he drank 1 coke a day his whole life , says it helps clean out his system ...he still had fight in him

All the anti-soda rhetoric is a little tiring. Would everyone be a little better off if they drank nothing but water? Sure. We would also be Healthier if we ate nothing but greens, legumes, and very lean meat. Better get rid of alcohol, and be sure to exercise at least one full hour per day. Stay out of the sun, don’t lift anything too heavy, and wrap yourself in bubble-wrap if you ever (gasp) do anything risky like walking up stairs.

You can choose to do all that. I will choose to live my life. Had a couple of bourbon & Diet Pepsi cocktails last night. They were delicious.

Lol spraying something that low or ph on plants would remove the wax on the leaf surface and comprise the plant within short time. Especially its uv protection. Foliar sprays and feeds are phed to 6.3-6.7. Anything below 6 causes issues mentioned above. Google search gives coke a ph of 2.4. Maybe this would work once but any useful or repeated use would absolutely fuck your plants up. Dont listen to this bs.

Dawn dish soap at correct dilutions will kill most aphids, leaf miners and bs you want off your crop. Gives them dissentery and they diarrhea to death
