MSM: People in US getting packages of "jewelry" that contain mysterious seeds from China!!!!! thing is though, i order a lot of seeds. maybe the people receiving them are too, and didn't realize they are getting drop shipped seeds from china? And they are labeled "jewelry" to escape detection from customs. There was no label on the inside stating which kinds of seeds they were, and no receipt. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77661007 I wonder about that, too. Not to mention, they may have ordered these seeds months ago, and thanks to covid, customs, and the speed of freighters, they're just now arriving. I'm other words, some folks may have forgotten that they ordered seeds in Amazon, not realizing that the seeds they ordered would be drop shipped from China in mislabeled packages. |

MSM: People in US getting packages of "jewelry" that contain mysterious seeds from China!!!!! I ordered some seeds from China and got them over the past few weeks. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78121322 Now I'm concerned about what they might produce... At any rate, I planted them in pots. One package came that I did not order...I thought it was possibly a double shipment. Burn them with fucking fire!!!! You do realize that some seeds germinate only after a fire.. Take them to your local extension office. If it is done with courage, it leads a heart home.~Sheila Moon And by and by Christopher Robin came to the end of things, and he was silent, and he sat there, looking out over the world, just wishing it wouldn't stop. MSM: People in US getting packages of "jewelry" that contain mysterious seeds from China!!!!! being afraid of these seeds is as stupid as china burning the mask the USA sent them. just maybe china news is telling the people that the Americans are out of food? no way the common people of china would risk everything and lie to customs to get some seed to the Americans I don't guess. i do think there are good people there that would try to get seed to us to help us. there are people right here that think we are out of food. they are too afraid to step into the grocery store and see the shelves are mostly stocked! i live near a lady that was excited that i brought her a couple tomatoes from my garden, she was out of groceries but too afraid to go to the store, has proclaimed she is never going again. i will keep taking her food from the garden but she is going to have to get brave and see the world still works. |

MSM: People in US getting packages of "jewelry" that contain mysterious seeds from China!!!!! Residents of Utah have shared incidents of receiving small packages with Chinese writing that indicated the items as jewelry, according to FOX 13. These boxes actually contained unidentified seeds from China, recipients told FOX 13. Quoting: Digital mix guy "I opened them up and they were seeds," Lori Culley of Tooele, Utah told FOX 13. Culley told the channel that she found the packages on Tuesday. "Obviously they're not jewelry!" Fox 13 confirmed that the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food will likely investigate in coordination with Customs and Border Protection. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services also made an announcement Friday, stating that they were aware of several residents receiving "packages containing seeds that appear to have originated from China." Noting that they have not identified the nature of the seeds yet, VDACS warned it "may be invasive plant species. VDACS asked recipients to not plant the unsolicited seeds and report them to the Office of Plant Industry Services. While the nature of the seeds awaits further investigation, the risk of invasive species could potentially pose a large threat. A 2016 study by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences looked at the global impact invasive insects and pathogens carry and showed that they could result in a multi-billion-dollar threat for agriculture around the world. [link to news.yahoo.com (secure)] I can't believe there's NOT a single person in this thread that can't just look at them and know what they are. You guys have been outside at some time in your life right? You have played in the garden? You have helped Grandma plant stuff? You have purchased seeds at the store? You have operated a camera before? (Psst, it's an app on your phone.) What? Take a picture. Then link it here. We'll take it from there. :) |

MSM: People in US getting packages of "jewelry" that contain mysterious seeds from China!!!!! I'll bet many of you don't know that several evasive species are sold at the home and gardening stores English ivy, several species of bamboo, there are about 20 evasive that were not here before the age of mass import. Most of us also know English Starlings were not native to north America, but they are now thanks to the old ships that came over. Never, ever plant Bamboo around your home, not even in garden pots. Once that takes hold, NOTHING will get rid of it. The roots can grow down as deep as 20 feet or more. Never plant it or buy a home near it. I did and the owner who planted MOVED and rented. The Bamboo finally reached my property, so it's a continual battle to keep it at bay. The next owner will likely dredge the property or do a tear down anyway. We just have to stop importing so much stuff and start manufacturing again, it's a total duh situation. Empty factories= reopen. |

MSM: People in US getting packages of "jewelry" that contain mysterious seeds from China!!!!! I actually did get a little package from China with a little bracelet inside made of red and blue beads on elastic, with a little red fish dangle (also plastic). I could not figure out how or why it came to me, although it had my name and address. Thing cost a penny or less to put together. Now I'm thinking they were seeing they could get through the scanners in order to send the seeds, but only sending the bracelets at first. Once customs/PO lost interest, then it was "send the seeds" time. galvanic |
