TX Mom dies of drug overdose in SUV, kids die of heat-stroke

Probably yet another fentanyl death.

I’ve noticed something about junkies. They will sell every belonging they have but hold on to their vehicle for dear life.

Those poor children, it makes me sick to imagine that suffering. It seems like she was a decent mother, apparently COVID made her depressed and relapse but I doubt that was all it was.
I wonder what the substance was, autopsy is supposed to be out later in the week.

Bet if she has grandparents they'd gladly trade their life for these babies. Deaths of despair are going to get worse & worse. Wish those around her had tracked her down though, it couldn't have been a large area to search.

Overdoses and suicide attempts are on the rise and likely get worse as the chaos impacts the schools. Schools are usually a sanctuary for kids from troubled or struggling home environments. With the 'stay-at-home' mandates - it will be a nightmare.

It's tragic what happened but at 4 years old I would have gotten out of the vehicle from just watching my mom every day.

My heart is for those kids and thier family but I want to know what led up to this.

Drug overdoses? Happens to rich or poor. If you think it only happens to the poor who have no money or job, you're wrong. It's a mental problem. Addiction. Almost everyday we read about a wealthy actor or actress in Hollywood who died of an overdose! Does NOT happen to only the poor, and does not only happen because of COVID!
