I call BS on this because one of the vaccine candidates, ChAdOx1 from the UK, uses cut-up pieces of the SARS CoV-2 virus and grafts them on to a chimpanzee adenovirus particle.

The cut-up pieces of the virus will not cause illness, and the adenovirus is harmless to humans as well.
