That alone is enough reason to recognize them as a sovereign country. We should recognize them as a country and load them up with nukes. China has no say in the matter. Quoting: WalrusRider Taiwan claims all of China. So yes they do want to be part of China. They are still in a civil war with the Chinese Communist Party. The civil war has been going almost 100 years now. If you give them nukes they are gonna nuke the PRC and take over all of China. It does not matter. The division exists now, and neither side wants to be a part of the other. The sane solution is to let both sides exist apart. China has no right to force its rule on millions of people that do not want to be ruled by them. It really is that simple. Both sides claim all of China. So if you can convince them to give up their claims and live separately, your plan might work. But it's almost 100 years now, neither side is just gonna give up their claims to all of China. Have you tried arranging peace talks between them? If you can get them to sign a peace treaty that would be great. Otherwise, the war continues. The Chinese play the long war. They have been at war with the US for years and have escalated rapidly this year. |
