I didn't realize you were at the launch. If I ever get down that way. I'll get the associated behind the scene tours. Astro can you send me a link to an email acct so I can send you something. Or email me so I can reply with an invite to a zoom for MOXIE Quoting: uhftx ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79104722 it may have been paid for but the money can be returned and further spending can be stopped now, while we deal with our problems here on earth That's not how this works. Get off the thread Luddite. The email for your account work? I'm at the launch so can't join a zoom right now Education is a decision, Not something that can be drilled into a brain. It also will test new technologies to benefit future robotic and human exploration of Mars. Launch is s scheduled to 7:50 AM eastern July 30th. Prelaunch Activities 7AM July 30th [link to www.nasa.gov (secure)] Mars 2020 Perseverance is part of America’s larger Moon to Mars exploration approach that includes missions to the Moon as a way to prepare for human exploration of the Red Planet. Charged with sending the first woman and next man to the Moon by 2024, NASA will establish a sustained human presence on and around the Moon by 2028 through NASA's Artemis program. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, media participation in news conferences will be remote. Only a limited number of media, who already have been accredited, will be accommodated at Kennedy. For the protection of media and Kennedy employees, the Kennedy Press Site News Center facilities will remain closed to all media throughout these events. Access from mobile for Instagram (Mars, Mission Control, the Rover) Or from the Facebook App (Mars, Mission Control, the Rover) 5. For a press kit, go here: [link to www.jpl.nasa.gov (secure)] 6. To be a Virtual Guest at a variety of related NASA events, go here: [link to go.nasa.gov (secure)] The female and male NASA choose to send to the moon in 2024 will be a 300 pound, blue haired, bull-dyke and a homosexual black man. Just wait for it. |

After pulling in Martian air, the system filters out dust, compresses it, and then feeds it into the Solid OXide Electrolyzer (SOXE), the key element that takes pressurized carbon dioxide and uses a combination of electricity and chemistry to split the molecule into oxygen and carbon monoxide. The purity of the oxygen is analyzed, and then the oxygen is released back into the Martian atmosphere. Currently, the plan is to perform at least 10 oxygen-producing runs throughout the mission under as many different seasonal and environmental conditions as possible. Due to the intense amount of energy required to run the MOXIE experiment, the team will coordinate with the other researchers, who will have to power down for the duration of MOXIE’s several-hour run time, and then wait for most of a Martian day (called a sol) for Perseverance’s batteries to recharge. The data will be sent back to a lab on MIT’s campus, where MOXIE’s performance will be analyzed. Economy is humming. Zero unemployment. Zero debt. And we are running a huge surplus. Besides, no one wants to go to Vegas these days. Obviously many people think that partying is way more important than advancing humankind. Why not take care of the problems we have right here on earth first rather than try to escape it and bring it some where else? And you know only the ‘elite’ would prosper from leaving the earth. They take the money and run. |

Or that this project has been going since BEFORE the virus hit. So it was all paid for DURING the boom in America's economy. You're just a NASA hater right? Seeking archaeological evidence as well. Millions are already aware there is some humanoid history on Mars; interesting we are in a race to disclose it... maybe. Whoever controls disclosure, controls the world? Both governments have been lying for decades; what's up? Never believe much in coincidences! |
