EXTINCTION will follow. There's barely enough time right NOW to shutdown any downstream reactors... That should have been in progress many days ago...  Shutting down the reactors won't prevent meltdowns. Study it research it. Even if TEPCO had enough time to shutdown the FUKUSHIMA reactors it would not have prevented the meltdowns and crisis that it's today. excellent point
