Has the idea been floated that China could’ve used money as the vessel for a biological attack and they may be burning it?

Re: My bank (NC SECU) just limited my cash withdrawal to $2,000
I listened to a former Bank CEO & former FDIC auditor last night. They are asking all retired FDIC auditor to come back to work. These "Auditors" specialize in bank collapse and asset management strategies. The system may be getting ready for a major collapse and a roll out to a new currency. The limiting of cash and coins is a good sign of major issues ahead. If you see bank holidays you know we are close.

OK, that's another clue, if true, AC.

Perhaps a reset is on the horizon. Sooner than later.

Thx for your input.

Re: My bank (NC SECU) just limited my cash withdrawal to $2,000
this is pretty normal.

threads like this for years on glp. so it's nothing new to us long timers here.

i know you're just going to ignore what i say.so , i say it in vein, that most banks don't carry much cash now and it has to be ordered in.

the shortage in cash you were told about is simply a "don't have enough today, sorry" situation, rather than a widespread cash problem.

I have a hard time believing that concept due to fact that existing bills/coins in circulation would still have the active 'germs/bacteria/virus' on it.

Yeah, it'd freak folks out to know that damn near everything they touch is encrusted w/ shit but it doesn't stop 'em from carrying on w/ normal business transactions.

Due to a shortage in cash apparently.
Nows the time folks!

UPDATE: went to another branch and was limited to 2500.
The branches are about 30 minutes apart from each other so it does seem to be more of a widespread issue

there is a cash paper shortage.. because the printing presses that print the COUNTERFEIT... are closed. Some of them in Asia.

A dollar store I go to here opened late the other day.. the supervisor went to bank to get money to make change with... and they refused... a major grocery store her gave her cash and she ate 19 Cents of my purpose because I didn't have coin on me.

now that is an interesting twist you bring.

"According to the United States Department of Treasury, an estimated $70 million in counterfeit bills are in circulation, or approximately 1 note in counterfeits for every 10,000 in genuine currency, with an upper bound of $200 million counterfeit, or 1 counterfeit per 4,000 genuine notes."

but it seems they have no idea the rate that cash is injected into the system

Cash is king. It might not be worth much if inflation goes rampant, but it is easier to toss out a Benjamin and get change than tossing down an ounce of gold and thinking you might get change back.

But Old US Cash will be like foreign currency and rated differently. Like travelling and having to convert for different values.

Not sure what to do with cash at the moment. Missed the window to buy gold and silver.

 Quoting: Ghetto Guy

How many details do you need?
I wanted cash (under 5k)
Was told they could only give me 2k because cash is short.
I have no limit on withdrawal.
I’ve taken out 10k+ many times
 Quoting: I'm with Trump.

Why would anybody keep that much money in a bank? You know they changed the law after the last financial collapse. If your bank has financial "issues" they have the right to bail themselves out with depositors money. In other words, they will just keep your cash and their is nothing you can do about it.

How much interest are they paying you? 1/4" of a percent? I keep just enough to pay my bills in a bank. The rest is safely in my hands and in a safe full of silver and gold.

Re: My bank (NC SECU) just limited my cash withdrawal to $2,000
Not taking away from your story, but I've run into this a couple of times over the past 10 years in the Raleigh NC area. Either it is bank policy to only keep certain amounts of cash on hand, or it is bank policy to limit the amount of cash extractions. I was told that if I had given advance notice then they would have had the cash ready for pickup. $2,000 was the cash maximum that they advertised both times I encountered this situation.

UPDATE: I just came from another branch in the area and was limited to 2500.

It sure does seem like they’ve either had a huge influx of people pulling out their money or they are putting limits in place to stop it from happening as precious metals continue to rise

My ATM has been getting smoked dry everyone has been withdrawing cash makes no sense with most of business still closed and most people just buying online don't know why people are doing it

Highest I have seen in seven years at this location

ATM is loaded with $145k in 20s and 20k in 10s gone in 48 hours

And all the banks always have a line of cars now guess that is why people are just going to ATM to not have to deal with bank wait
