They handled it as would any patriotic family of a controversial political figure. They knew there would be a leftist media frenzy that would attempt to tarnish his name because of the upcoming election and so they likely took appropriate measures in preparing the announcement to mitigate attacks. It was well-executed IMO.

I don't usually mind the red. Just don't want to get swamped by it when it's undeserved.

I noticed in one of the articles, that the MSM is highlighting the fact that he attended a Trump rally two weeks before his diagnosis. I guess the media will blame Trump for this one. Anyway, sad to hear that Herman Cain has passed.

I posted about this several days ago on the 27th and got attacked for it because it was far in advance of public confirmation.

The source I mentioned, as expected, was accurate. This update is to confirm that the source's information was legit. I take no credit for the information, as I do not know Mr. Cain or his family personally, but the source does.

As the source indicated at the time, the announcement was delayed so family could prepare announcements.

Lady Jane Smith, I think you deleted the thread upon my request because it could not be verified at the time and I didn't want potential misinformation posted about someone's death. It was accurate, however.
