They've set you up so well that when (roughly) half your population has enough and rebels, the (roughly) other half go all in support whatever the duck is going on. You're all either red or blue, with a very small percentage able to buck those routes your *ahem* "leaders" have shown you. Majority either to poor to care for the future, or so desperate to hold onto the idea of "retirement, 401k and good years and fun when you're closer to death then birth" and owning an apartment in Florida to dare step out of line. Oh, and the ultra rich who it seems dictate your countries direction. Don't feel bad tho...a lot of the world is in a similar position. |
