No... not an irony. It is a contradiction. These insurrectionists have such a dichotomous mentality. "Kill all the cops and ol' whitey!!" is their mantra. Yet whenever the cops and/or "ol' whitey" comes to protect themselves and/or each other suddenly it is "please save us, cops!" and/or "Do your fucking jobs, cops, and save us!".

I figure the residents of Springfield, Oregon will unlock their firearms now and keep an eye out for any potential insurrectionists coming their way. The cops may abandon the entire area when the actual Americans begin to fire upon the insurrectionists.

Well, they can keep talking like that but I want to see them actually try that in rural areas and suburbs.

Especially the homeowners themselves coming out armed as best as they can in such short notice. The cops will not be able to do much, if anything, should the homeowners go the "Ah!
