Re: Hurricane Isaias is strengthening on a path through the Bahamas and up the east coast
11am EST update remains mostly unchanged. 80 mph and 987 mb's. Movement is still NW and not NNW @ 10-12 mph.

Isaias has slightly weakened and slightly strengthened the last two days. Should have named this one Eddy, as in Steady Eddy.

chuckle

Florida still very much in play.

Next update in 2.5 hours.

OTOH, this:

"Isaias's low-lvl center is now completely exposed near the western tip of Andros Isl. in the Bahamas. Strong shear, dry air, & weakened sfc heat fluxes immediately adjacent to the circulation over the island are taking their toll on #Isaias, & it's likely not a hurricane atm."

Still a hurricane but barely..

2pm EST update - Isaias downgraded to 75 mph winds and 990 mb's.

Shear and dry air is the cause, but Isaias might fight through it as it approaches the coast later tonight and a possible regrouping.

Marjorie Lorsbach says secret government operatives are using weaponized nanotechnology to punish her HIM for the transsexual surgery she HE underwent in the 1980s.

Lorsbach said secret enclaves of the federal government are using nano-poisons to harass and even assassinate members of unpopular minority groups and other political nonconformists.

“These nano-devices have literally exploded in my face and are part of a heinous and covert program of extra judicial killings within the United States,” said Lorsbach, a retired teacher. …

Nanotechnology, Lorsbach said, involves artificially altered particles, amounting to one billionth of a meter or less. To give perspective, Lorsbach noted a human hair is 80,000 nanometers in width.

“The particles as vapor enter through the sinuses and into the circulatory system and go directly through the lungs into the coronary arteries, damaging the heart muscle and other internal organs” said Lorsbach.

The harassment against her, HIMshe HE said, began when she HE appeared to discuss her HIS transsexual surgery on the nationally televised “Donohue Show” in 1991.

Fuckin degenerate loser, communist fuck. You are mentally unstable with TDS.. that could be a real dangerous combination!

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 800 PM EDT (0000 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Isaias was
located by an Air Force Hurricane Hunter aircraft near latitude 25.3
North, longitude 78.9 West. Isaias is moving toward the northwest
near 9 mph (15 km/h). A general northwestward motion with some
decrease in forward speed is expected for the next day or so,
followed by a north-northwestward motion by late Sunday. A turn
toward the north and north-northeast is anticipated on Monday and
Tuesday with an increase in forward speed. On the forecast track,
the center of Isaias will approach the southeast coast of Florida
tonight and move near or along the east coast of Florida Sunday and
Sunday night. On Monday and Tuesday, the center of Isaias will move
from offshore of the coast of Georgia into the southern mid-Atlantic
states.

Maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph (110 km/h) with higher
gusts. Some restrengthening is forecast, and Isaias is expected to
regain hurricane strength later tonight and early Sunday. Slow
weakening is expected to begin Sunday night and continue through
Monday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km)
from the center. Settlement Point, Grand Bahama Island, recently
reported a wind gust of 41 mph (66 km/h). An unofficial observing
station in Ft. Lauderdale Beach recently reported a wind gust of 39
mph (63 km/h).

The estimated minimum central pressure based on Hurricane Hunter
aircraft data is 993 mb (29.32 inches).

Possibly, for Florida at least. Isaias may hit Florida as a tropical storm. He may downgrade to a depression and just bring some wind gusts and rain.

It's what happens when Isaias takes that trek from Florida toward the Carolinas and then up into New England that may spell trouble if he manages to pick up steam again out over open waters. People in those areas still need to be watchful regardless of what does or doesn't happen in Florida.

Agree. This is an awkward storm, low-level center is like invisible on satellite, but it could spin all the way to Maine. Water off so. FL is like 85, 86 degrees. Isaias is only moving 9 mph which will linger any rain - likely to pick up steam when it clears dry air and shear.

Most of the convection is north and east which is good if it stays off the coast in Florida.

It's the 9th storm already and the earliest on record for #10 is something like Aug. 22nd. There are 2 possibilities in the Atlantic now.
