Really? Right now, my quick search has said the Seattle does not have a contract with the King County Sheriff's Department, so really, if that's true, well, that idea won't work. Plus, even if they did, the city could simply say they are not welcome and bar them from working there.

Wow....what happened to the old Seattle I use to like and visit 30 years ago. The whole west coast has gone for a shit with the Lib mentality, from Vancouver BC down to LA, but what is happening in Seattle and Portland is really hard to comprehend. The mayors and councillors are completely devoid of common sense
and are selling the decent tax payers down the river.

As others mentioned, I guess the tax payers in Seattle will have to be the test subjects for an experiment that is going to go south quickly. Hope they are all stocked up on food, fuel, ammo and medical supplies.

My town is looking to abolish the local and county PD but it will be absorbed into the County Sheriff's Office. It is too much redundancy and power struggles between 3 LE agencies in one county. I am sure they will NOT be abolishing the King County Sheriff's office. I didn't read the link because a county sheriff is an elected official.
