Yes.

I use a similar analogy for my kids when one is acting up to the point that its disrupting our lives.

I remind them that being in a family is like being in a small boat. As long as everyone is steady, controls themselves and all rowing the same direction - we're fine. But if one of us is not doing their part to row, not keeping steady or is actively rocking the boat - we all are in jeopardy of sinking.
