Anonymous Coward User ID: 77758415 United States 08/01/2020 03:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | raw garlic clove can help. It has anti biotic antiviral and antifungal properties and it can help with the pain as well. I have also heard that cloves can help. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77758415 Like raw onion? That kinda worked for me on my wisdom tooth I think onion can have similar effects. Raw garlic, just chew a bit at a time as much burn as you can take. Oil of Clove also has many beneficial effects including a numbing effect on nerves. |

As others have said brush them very good then follow the instructions. Pain will go away long enough you can fall asleep. Proud member of the angry mob since 2009. |

Pain is usually from an infection Colloidal Silver helps a lot of people with tooth pain because it can kill the infection. However your going to need to get that dealt with. You have a cavity and getting saliva inside the tooth/roots it will keep happening. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 56636228 United Kingdom 08/01/2020 04:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The pain is caused by either bacteria (most likely) or an exposed nerve (less likely). The bacteria have been able to invade your tooth because it is weak. It is weak because you are mineral deficient. Get calcium supplements ASAP and start taking them immediately 300% recommended daily dose for a few days then lower to a more reasonable amount when your teeth feel stronger. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 56636228 To fix the bacteria, ideally you need antibiotics such as amoxycillin or erythromycin. Colloidal silver can be helpful too if you have any. Brush your teeth. Use an antiseptic to brush with like hydrogen peroxide (diluted), alcohol, mouthwash, bicarbonate of soda (baking powder) will work well to kill bacteria as they require an acidic environment. After you have done this, make some warm salt water (fairly salty) and hold it in your mouth for 10 minutes or so. Repeat every so often. Drink only water. See a Dentist. Don't use fluoride. Don't allow them to put fluoride on your teeth, fix your mineral deficiency. You seems pretty intelligent why no fluoride? Ive taken the silver the other day for infection.. does the fluoride eat through your teeth or something Fluoride is very close to calcium in structure but its not exactly the same, there are differences. When calcium is used by the body in bones and teeth it creates a uniform lattice - like a set of perfect cubes - but when the body is deficient in calcium and fluoride is present that will be used in place of calcium. Because fluoride is not strucutally identical to calcium the lattice that is formed is not uniform and has defects, this manifests in weakness of the tooth or bone and can be visible in the form of fluorosis. The primary reason fluoride is promoted so heavily is because people with dark skin living in the northern hemisphere are not able to synthesise sufficient vitamin D to utilise calcium and therefore have weak teeth and bones. But that is never admitted because that would be racist. |

It's what's starting the party in your mouth. Next, grab the cold and flu meds from the grocery store OTC section, it will help bust up whatever is going on as far as abscesses. You do not need antibiotics. |

Worked for me and beat any pain killers I had. Once the mouth starts to warm the water, spit it out and take a another sip. Last Edited by Little Lost on 08/01/2020 04:44 AM |
Masterblaster User ID: 51779019 United States 08/01/2020 04:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When my tooth was bothering me (old filling, I suspected it was getting infected inside) my wife recommended tea tree oil to disinfect, and clove oil to numb the pain. It sounds like you tried the clove oil- try applying tea tree oil with a q-tip. Tastes gross, but I noticed an immediate improvement. Hope it helps! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78009776 United States 08/01/2020 04:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tooth pain with cavity... Go to the drug store or Walmart and go where you find the all the tooth stuff. You are looking for this stuff to stuff in your cavity. [link to www.walmart.com (secure)] You will want to get some oregano essential oil or garlic oil will work. I think oregano oil works better but I'm bias. LOL You want to put the oregano oil or garlic oil on your gums, rub it in and do this every 2-4 hours until the swelling goes down and the pain quits. You want to clean your tooth as well as you can especially the cavity and then take the Den Tex and fill the cavity, following the instructions. And make sure you pack that thing because you are "sealing" it so bacteria can not get into it and cause infections until you can get to a dentist. I have been known to take 8-10 ibuprofen, 200-250mgs (regular ibuprofen whatever mgs is), every 4 hours but usually it's every 6 hours. And you must eat something with this amount of pills or you will get sick. I usually eat a piece of bread or a few crackers with peanut butter. A snack to help the aspirin stuff in the pills. The oregano oil will taste like black pepper. So be aware of that when you use it. I don't mix it, I use it out the bottle. To make garlic oil, take 10 garlic cloves and chop up into small pieces. Put into a couple tablespoons in a small sauce pan. Cook on warm setting or lowest setting you have. Do not allow the garlic to change colors or toast at all. You want to seep the "goodness" out. Slow heating and you will smell the garlic. LOL This is also great for ear aches/infections. Works like a charm. Put a few drops in the ear, rub. Ear infection goes away. I use olive oil for this. For pain. I actually use cayenne pepper if I'm using a topical. I tried orjel and clove oil and those just seemed to make my tooth hurt more when they wore off. But the cayenne seemed to numb it for a while and it didn't seem to hurt as bad either. And by default, the cayenne also helps the oregano or garlic oil "goodness" to heal also. Yep, I've done a lot of experimenting with my painful teeth at one time before I ended up getting dentures. LOL Hate the dentures too. Hate them. |

By far most powerful is colloidal silver. I"d take a shot of Colloidal silver, try to let it pool up on the side with the bad tooth/pain. Let it sit there for about 2 minutes. Swish around a bit and swallow it. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76823077 United States 08/01/2020 05:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes to the cloves idea. I had severe pain after a wisdom tooth extraction once and a friend took some cloves and put them into an emptied-out tea bag and had me hold that in my mouth. I’d never heard of it before, but it really worked. These were the whole ones, like you’d poke into a ham, not the ground-up stuff. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72606520 United States 08/01/2020 05:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This worked for me: Put about 10 asperin on a piece of typing paper Fold the paper over the asperin Crush them with a hammer (like a giant bc powder) Pour the powder on aflicted area (If it's a top tooth, hold your head upside down when pouring the powder) Leave on as long as you can stand it 3-6 applications and it will never hurt again (But your tooth will darken because it kills the nerve) |

Painkillers are not the solution for more than a few days. And they often do not work great. Paracetamol is ok, then ubrofen family. But there is a limit on how many tablets per day are safe, read the medicine info. |

It Will take about 48 hrs to start working. But the best advice for immediate relief is get Turmeric Powder and pack it on and in where ever the gums are inflamed. I get mine in the herb section at wallmart. |
