True. My understanding is they want a reduction to the salt tax which affects those who make over 100k in blue states (California, new York, new Jersey, etc). Reducing it would reduce the amount the fed receives in revenue by the wealthiest in blue states. Salt allows those making over 100k to include their state/local property taxes on the itemized schedule to further reduce their income. It affects 13 million tax payers in blue states vs the 30 million low wage unemployed.

But of course this is alleged because as usual we cant read the bill (1800 pages of handouts of trillions of waste n fraud we are paying for) until they pass it.....
