It would be good for the unemployed to go a couple weeks without the extra $600... maybe then some of them might get worried enough to give them an incentive to go get a job.

Should have mentioned, the job is literally picking up a product, scanning it, and putting it into an envelope. Nothing weighs more than 1lb. If you're so pissy about it, then you should have contacted unemployment about these people turning down a job offer... because they have to answer "Have you turned down any job offers" on their weekly benefits and they would be lying which is perjury on a government document.. Just because you see some assholes in your area doing this, doesn't mean there are millions of jobs available in every area that people lost their work to return to.. never mind some people CAN'T return to work due to government mandates in their areas.. Also a lot of jobs in some areas are only working at partial capacity and they are only rehiring the employees they furloughed. If the government can shell out trillions to corporations and individual businesses that were already too big to fail, there is no reason they can't give some money to the people, especially since it'll all be coming out of the people in the end anyway.
