Wow, that sucks OP. However, I don’t think there’s a clause in the speed law that says “Shall not exceed posted speed, unless everyone else is speeding.”
On another note, fight the charge. They might give you a deal to plead to a lesser charge. If it goes to trial, look up the problems with radar on the internet, then use them against the officer.
Quoting: Off Switch if the cop was speeding and raced up on OP without the lights then it's a form of entrapment also the cop is in violation of the traffic law by speeding without the lights on if the cop had the lights on then it's still entrapment if the intent was to get someone to speed to "get out of the way" of the cop cops tailgate without the lights on to run your plate
