I live in a one-stoplight village of about 1400 people, an hour or so away from Chicago.
Our community has a few black families and they are well-liked and respected. they have been here for decades.
Within the past few years, white families have moved here and have occupied rental properties. They have been quiet and caused no issues.
The other day, down the street from me, one of these families hung a large "Black Lives Matter" flag on the front of their house. Another family has some kind of sign on their lawn in a few different languages, with one being Arabic, which I noticed as I drove by.
This community is full of hunters and most homes have at least one gun. Residents are of the old fashioned kind that don't take kindly to strangers in the beginning.
WTF is wrong with these people?

I have family there,union type,Hunters and Rabid DEMS...But they love hunting and baseball...

When we went to vist them in oct of 2010,they are normal,RED WHITE AND BLUE,in their home,smoker outside for pig ribs,and had some deer they just killed...
And deer heads on the wall...He rides a motorcycle...
Even said he would buy us a gun,and laughed at our insane gun laws in California...

But yet,They as i saw them,ARE AMERICANS,As in celebrating...like the 4th,and other American holidays more than i do...
They have flag in their yard..

WELL,I thought to myself...you know who runs that city dont ya???
lol....I was told by my mom n dad not to bring up politics ..Even though they are my cousins...in their 50s now...
So strange...
I have not talked to them since then...
But my mom does,and she says they are still HARD CORE DEMS...
But they live Like HARD CORE REP ??
