If people would follow what Jesus said to do there would be no one killing each other. The law of Christ is all about love.

The Bible was written by man, but inspired by God. I will submit that it is God's word, but God's word is everything, literally. Are you saying The Bible is The Truth? Newsflash: God is Truth, not The Bible. GOD is Truth, as you have stated. The Bible is also truth. But not the whole entire Truth. It never was meant to be. I agree with you that modern Christianity is a far cry from what Christ has called us to be. Satanism has infiltrated the Church slowly but surely and most Christians are self-absorbed snobs that Jesus would call "empty tombs full of dead men's bones." There has been a decided, planned attack on the Church and Christianity that has been going on for 40 years now - even more - where they teach it's all about what GOD will do for you. Not that we are all sinners and only saved by grace and mercy. I think we have very similar understandings and if we met in person we'd have a lot of very good discussions over beer and pool. Cheers.
