I have watched Chicago Med for years, so its not a new show.

I know the creators of those shows. We all went to the same college-they graduated a few years ahead of me, always came back to share their knowledge and inspire English majors with their stories about Hollywood. They broke in with a spec script, did a bunch of rewrites and such, they wrote Wanted (there's even an inside joike in the movie where McAvoy has to assassinate some random guy named Bob Darden, because that name was the name of a creative writing professor at Baylor), the 3:10 to Yuma remake, and 2 Fast 2 Furious, among others. The Chicago shows definitely exist, because every time I watch them, I'm reminded of the two guys I know who stopped talking about doing shit and writing things and actually went to Hollywood and made movies and wrote screenplays.

I've heard of all of them but never watched any. I consider it a lack of creativity to build a base for crossover shows situated in one city like Chicago this and that.
I live in the deep South and it doesn't interest me.

The Chicago Hope show pre-dated these other dumb shows line up and I think they all come on CBS or NBC that I never watch.

Chicago fire came out first and in some episodes there was a sort of nasty cop. They used the cop for the first spin off called Chicago PD. Later they created the second spin off called Chicago Med.

I watched then from the start but lost all interest in the spin offs.
