I guess I am stupid. I actually don't go out to public places now because I am a germaphobe and I have an infant.
However, I don't understand why a mask is supposed to keep germs from going out of a person in a mask- but it doesn't keep the germs from going inside the person wearing a mask on the other side.

I also ONLY wear a mask for show, and so far i have gotten away with it - I WEAR IT UNDER MY NOSTRILS!!! Even inside.

I don't even know if any one notices or cares.

Many of us were not wearing masks because they have made it a requirement. Our work and county have done this.

At work we are supposed to wear mask because we have an air conditioned building. I only wear it when I go outside my office, thankfully no one has said anything. If someone comes in and sees most do not wear while in offices we could get in trouble.

As for the county, I try not to go to any stores, but when I am inside I usually take my mask down to my chin.

a few weeks ago, around the same time we started wearing masks, I had vertigo/sinus issues. I thought I was better but I am getting sinus headaches again, so back on medicine. And I get headache when I wear the mask for a while.

That warning label is just to cover their ass so they can’t get sued if someone wears the mask and gets sick. It doesn’t necessarily mean the masks don’t work, just that they don’t work all the time.

Kind of like the “may contain nuts” warning on many foods.

The warning says it doesn't provide "any" protection. It could at least say, "mask may not provide complete protection from covid 19 or infectious diseases like colds and the flu". The wording tells the story.

Really? Everybody will be better without masks, huh lol. Wearing a mask doesn’t prevent anyone from getting sick, BUT it does help. . I wear the mask to help prevent me catching a cold, flu, etc. It’s really not a big deal, but you idiots are making more of this than needs to be. If a business requires you to wear a mask, then wear the freaking mask. It’s their business after all, NOT YOURS!

I am not poor so I don't go to Wal-Mart. I can just order everything I want online and pick up my food from the store. They even load it into my trunk so I don't have to interact with them.

Wearing a mask is more of a courtesy to others that might have weakened nd immunity systems. This is not a Sheeple type of situation. Maybe these anti-maskers should start studying about blood types and infections.They should also educate themselves on pathogen’s and the transfer of such.
You only have to wear a mask when you go in a business around other people, so you’ll have to keep it on maybe a few hours at most a day on and off? I guess that’s too dangerous for the big people that are so smart.
