So...moving on...I just tried to call her cell (which is the original number she texted me from)...and that number does NOTHING. No rings, no busy signal, no direct to VM...nothing. When I called her originally (at what I assumed was a payphone) I heard muffled voices in the background...that sounded like they were coming out of a speaker...which I assumed was someone telling someone else how much their heart attack was going to cost from some drive-thru...so the payphone connection seemed plausible at worst. Plus, I could tell she was outside...you can hear wind interference and such on those outdoor calls.
