Referencing your comment - In UPDATE # 3 I included information that a "Asteroid Flyby Near Earth Miss" from late August, was actually suspected to be a 2nd craft that had actually made atmospheric entry - and that it was being more closely monitored by Indian and Russian Agencies (NOT THE US).

That thing has to be a good 100 miles across. I'm not sure how to really judge because it's in the air and I'm just looking at the distance between two points on earth. All I can say is, whatever it is, wow.

Maybe it warps light around itself making it pretty much invisible.

Not necessarily...think about it like this -

While it appears to be VERY LARGE on the image...IF it were much much much closer to the satellite taking the image than the ground beneath it (again, I was told that this thing is at about 120,00 ft up) - it would also be taking up much more of the frame from the satellite image - making it appear to be enromous in size.

Perspective right...like holding a quarter at arms length, it appears to be about the same size as the full moon...but if you move it much closer to your eye, the quarter dwarfs the moon in comparison.

When I saw the Mexico City craft on anther thread I thought of BDR and his ex chicks Intel. The India thing interesting too
