That book/movie have both been out for a long time...Im not picking up the reference-

I will wager if the book INFERNO has page number ( can't recall from your post) anyway you will find the Characters name and the message is clear as day. Just throwing this out there. Darn, just looked, the Hardcover book version of 'Inferno' only has 496 pages.. I am not a spy, so perhaps someone else can explain this a little better than I can. EDIT. 1143.. 1146, 191, 264 Look on pages 191 and 264.. Just a thought.
